Our team was formed in January 2005 as a group of dedicated men and women who had the common goal of finding a cure for this heart breaking disease which has affected all of us in one way or another. When we first met, most of us were strangers and now we have become lifelong friends by sharing this amazing journey. We began training together that year in February and slowly our stories, mixed with our tears, began to unfold. The support that we gave to each other along the way allowed each and every one of us to complete the 60 mile walk with smiles, laughter and hugs ( a few blisters as well) as we crossed the finished line together.

Since 2005, The Pink Angels have continued to walk in Boston every year.  In addition many team members have walked in Arizona, Cleveland, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.  In May 2009 we achieved a significant milestone in our fundraising efforts as we exceeded one million dollars.  This goal was reached with the dedicated efforts of each and every team member. Today’s goal is to become a 501c- Non Profit Organization to further support our fundraising efforts.
